At As It Happens, I learned many valuable skills that would carry over to any journalism platform. During my time, I covered the rise of tainted drugs in Saskatoon, as well as a story about a woman with cancer who met the cast of the hit TV show Severance. I worked on daily chases, and this position taught me that I can produce quality content in a short amount of time.

My most notable piece of work was a feature documentary on the coroner’s inquest for Florence Girard. This 15-minute documentary went on to win a Webster Award in the Excellence In Feature Reporting- TV/Video category.
