Certificates
DELF B2
The DELF certificate recognizes that I am fluent in French. It is recognized worldwide. The B2 is one of the harder certificates to get- which shows how hard I have worked to get it. This certificate is useful in journalism, as I can perform interviews, or do stories in French.
Foodsafe Level 2
In her food safety course, I learned about proper food handling procedures and cleanliness standards. This certificate has also taught me that everything is not as it seems. That is something that I takes with me to school.
Standard First Aid (SFA)
My SFA certificate shows I knows how to save someone in case of an emergency. Some skills I learned in this course are how to perform CPR, help someone if they’re having a stroke and use equipment like an automated external defibrillator (AED) to save someone.
Life-saving (Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross)
My life-saving certificates show that I can save someone from drowning and perform CPR or other emergency procedures. This skill is about determination and focus. When there is someone who depends on you to help them, it requires focus so that you don’t forget what the task at hand is. Determination comes in when you know you have to save someone.
