Emily finds passion in public speaking and writing. If there’s one place she’s ever felt comfortable, it’s on stage in front of many people. She carries this over to her work as a journalist, where she does TV live hits and reads off of a teleprompter. Emily also enjoys writing. It is one way of showing people her creative side while remaining factual and unbiased. 

Some of Emily’s skills include knowledge of Adobe software, such as Premier Pro, Audition and Photoshop. She also excels in Video Journalism where she can set up various different lighting settings and audio settings. 

Emily is set to graduate from the Broadcasting and Online Journalism course at BCIT in 2025. After her graduation, she would like to pursue a career in either article writing or news reporting.
