I first found my way to journalism through public speaking. If there’s one place I feel comfortable, it’s in front of a crowd.

As a multimedia journalist, I have the ability to chase, film, edit and write stories to multiple platforms, but my passion lies in radio and TV.

Some of my most notable radio stories include my podcast about Chelsea Poorman, a Missing and Murdered Indigenous Woman. The podcast followed the aftermath of her disappearance from her fathers perspective. Another radio story that stuck out was one that I produced while interning at the CBC. I followed the story of a firefighter who was feeling burnt out after responding to overdose calls in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Our industry is always changing, and so is the technology. With knowledge on iNews, Dalet, Polopoly, Adobe software, Burli and WordPress, I am a well-rounded journalist. These skills give me the ability to produce the best story possible, while also filing for many platforms.

I am set to graduate from the Broadcast and Online Journalism program in June of 2025. After my graduation, I am looking to pursue a career in journalism, and am willing to work with whatever medium.
